After years of volunteering their time and talents, a couple of our Yearbook Committee Chairs are rolling off after this school year. The school yearbook is created entirely by parent volunteers and relies on the talents, time and efforts of our amazing parent community. This means we need your help!
The yearbook committee involves planning throughout the school year. For next year, ideally we would need at least 1 more photographer and at least 2-3 additional people doing layout. The duties include learning the online yearbook system, downloading/organizing/taking photos, creating layouts, proofreading, and managing sales/orders. A detailed handbook with all of the info needed to run the committee is provided, as well as assistance when needed from our former chair members.
The awesome part of being on this committee? It’s a great way for a new parent to get to know Lincoln’s traditions, most of the workload falls around the spring deadline so there is more flexibility in the fall, and it is so rewarding to see kids’ reactions when they see themselves in the book!
