2024-25 Room Parents and Party Volunteers

As a Room Parent, you will relay communications to parents for PTA and the teacher, help organize and plan class parties, and if needed, ask classroom parents for party donations. Each Room Parent is guaranteed to attend at least one class party. You will also help coordinate the End-of-the-Year picnic, which is a grade-level picnic held in May.

As a Party Volunteer, you will help plan and execute the room party with the designated Room Parents and other volunteers. Party Volunteers, under the direction of the Room Parent(s), will help brainstorm ideas for party activities; gather needed supplies by purchasing or asking the class parents for materials; prep activities; and help run stations at the event itself.

We are allowed a maximum of 6 attendees per party. Each class has a max of 4 Room Parents and 12 Party Volunteers for the year. This allows each Room Parent to attend at least one party. The 6 collective volunteers (made up of Room Parents and Party Volunteers) will work together to plan and execute each respective party.
