The first 5 virtual meetups between our Green Leopard Club and Glenbard West’s Eco Club have been a lot of fun! Our 2nd-4th grade students have learned about topics such as animal extinction, protecting our water, and indoor gardening while participating in interactive games and even sharing favorite jokes!
If you have a 2nd-4th grader interested in the environment, animals, nature, recycling, or ways to make our community greener, join the next round of virtual meetups! Each meet will be about 30 minutes and include a short presentation on an environmental issue followed by an interactive activity. It’s an awesome opportunity for students to hear from high schoolers about these topics!
Our schedule for the rest of the year is:
- April 6th @ 4:00 pm – 4th grade
- April 20th @ 4:00 pm – 2nd grade
- May 4th @ 4:00 pm – 3rd grade
