Virtual High Interest Day

Lincoln’s First Ever Virtual High Interest Day – FRIDAY, FEB 26th
A slideshow with instructions, websites, and videos will be released to students in grades 2-5 on Friday, February 26th which is a no attendance day for students. Students will be able to access the slideshow in Google classroom Friday morning; they can spend as much or as little time as they would like on the High Interest Day activities that have been provided. Most links will be accessible until the end of the school year.

A bag of supplies, labeled with each student’s name, has been delivered to the students’ classrooms and will be available to take home on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (this is at the discretion of their homeroom teacher.) Remote students will be able to pick up their supplies in the front vestibule, organized by grade/teacher.

Bags have been sealed with a “don’t open until 2/26” sticker to keep supplies intact. Please note that the supplies may seem quite ordinary until they are paired with the appropriate video, so please help students keep them together and untouched until Friday. Additional supplies will not be available. If you have any questions or your student was unable to get their bag, please contact [email protected].

Don’t forget the photos!! We need High Interest Day pics for the yearbook!
Parents, please take pictures of your students’ creations and submit to [email protected] by Sunday, February 28th. Students are encouraged to post pictures or videos to Flipgrid at flipgrid.com/hid2021.

The event is finished.
