B-PAC & GPS-IN SPANISH Grooming for Excellence Parent Empowerment Program with Dr. Lourdes Ferrer-Allen will provide Spanish-speaking parents with the motivation,  knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate the culture of American education. Dr. Ferrer is a gifted Hispanic parental involvement specialist able to inspire participants to become self-advocates and role models, prepared to assume leadership roles in the community. Through this academy, parents will learn the resources for academic success, how to increase students’ college readiness and gain information on the skills necessary for today’s careers. Here are the character traits and the protective factors that will guide families to healthy children who thrive.
