Abraham Lincoln Elementary PTA Drama Club 2022 presents – Aladdin Jr.
Registration Is now OPEN! Go to abelincolnpta.org and look for “shop” in the upper left corner. Select “5th Grade Drama Club” and check out.
This 5th grade club is open to ALL fifth grade Lincoln students. This is a highly anticipated event all students wait to participate in. We highly encourage your student to participate even if they are “not sure” or “can’t act/sing”. Our director will teach and guide them, we are a no cut production, everyone will have a role. Most importantly, they will have FUN!
- $90 fee includes acting, singing, and dance instruction from a local professional director, a club t-shirt, dress rehearsal meal, and cast party after the show on Sunday.
- Costumes and makeup will need to be provided by participants, with directions from the director.
- Parents will be asked to volunteer for the production.
- Tickets to the show will be sold at an additional cost.
- Parent and all cast meeting will take place shortly after rehearsals begin.
Casting/Auditions: Sept 8th 3:30pm- 6pm in the new gym
Call backs/finalizing roles: Sept 9th (SIP DAY) 11:30am-2pm in new gym – Bring a lunch
Rehearsals: Every Thursday and Fridays 3:30- 6pm starting Sept 15th. Held at Lincoln Elementary in the New Gym.
- No rehearsal on Oct 20 or 21, will meet Tuesday Oct 18 instead.
- No rehearsal on Nov 18th (Sip DAY), will meet on Monday Nov 14th instead.
- No rehearsal the week of Nov 21-25 – Thanksgiving week.
- Additional Dance/choreo rehearsals- will take place Saturday Oct 15th, and Saturday November 5th from 1pm-4pm. Location TBD.
Dress Rehearsal: Friday, Dec 2nd from 4-8pm at Hadley Jr High Auditorium. Meal will be served.
