We are excited to announce this year’s musical Westward, Whoa!
This hilarious show is filled with a stable of goofy characters and a spry music score. There is a role for everyone and the music will provide entertainment for all ages!
No experience necessary and ALL 5th graders are welcome!
**First student meeting is Sunday, Sept 23rd from 3-4:30 p.m. at Sunshine Dance Project (515 Crescent Blvd)
**Parent information meeting is Sunday, Sept 23rd from 4:30-5:00 p.m. at Sunshine Dance Project
We are thrilled to have back Director, Jared Titus, of Bright Lights Theatre Company in Glen Ellyn. Jared will be running the show and will place the kids where they are most comfortable.
Rehearsals will be Sundays from 2-6 p.m., October 21st through the show date. Once roles are assigned, specific schedules will be distributed as there will likely be times when not everyone is needed the entire rehearsal. Kids are discouraged from missing more than two rehearsals.
Final performances are Saturday, February 2nd and Sunday, February 3rd, 2019.
Signups will be distributed via backpack mail this week and must be returned to the school office by Friday, September 14th.
We LOVE volunteers and if your child is participating in the show, please think about how you would like to help. We will have a list of committees you can sign-up for at our mandatory Parent Meeting on 9/23 from 4:30-5:00 p.m.
There is a $50 fee to help with production costs. The Lincoln PTA does not want to limit participation for our students. If you have a need for financial assistance, please let Mrs. Sabalaskey in the office know.
Being on stage and part of an ensemble performance is a unique and perhaps once-in-a-lifetime experience. We have great parts for boys and girls- plan on joining the fun!
